Written while Paul was imprisoned in Rome, this epistle to the church at Colossae seeks to correct heresy brought into the church by mystical religions (Gnosticism) and Judaizers. This class will explore the teachings of Paul concerning the Deity of Christ and His preeminence in creation and redemption. This class will teach the “supremacy” of Christ in the church as well as the believer’s “submission” to Christ in the church.
