Instructor: Dr. Phillip Richards. This course will be a 5-week class that will lay a foundation of the spiritual and historical significance of the nation of Israel. We will begin with an overall look at the history of Israel. We will then progress in our study by looking to the Word of God to learn about the people, the land, and the future of Israel. We will learn what the apostle Paul meant when he talked about the “Israel of God” in Galatians 6:16, “And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” This class will be offered free to those people who are traveling to Israel. Also included in this class will be practical information concerning our trip to Israel such as cultural protocol, monetary exchange, weather, and clothing for October. This information will be announced so that those not going to Israel will have the ability to choose whether or not they attend this portion of the teaching.
