It was once said, “the loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the heart of a mother.” But it was also once said, “there ain’t no hood like motherhood.” While we all know being a mom is such a blessing and children are most certainly the greatest gift in the world, this small group is for the moms who also sometimes feel their hearts are far from a masterpiece. This group is for the moms who sometimes feel like they have given their all and have nothing left to give. For the moms who are so overwhelmed. For the moms who don't have a clue how all the other moms look so put together and like they’ve got it all figured out. This group is for the moms who sometimes hide from their kids and cry in the pantry. For the mom who feels so alone and struggles. We are for the moms–We are here for you. You Are Not Alone. Through our discussion-based meetings, You Are Not Alone aims to bring hope, love, and encouragement to moms who need support. Our meetings provide a safe space for women to let their guards down and talk about what they are going through. We provide the platform to build friendships and community. We also provide resources to help with parenting and encourage self discovery and spiritual growth. And here’s the best part: FREE CHILDCARE! Children ages 18 months to preschool age are entertained and cared for by our “love ladies,” in an age appropriate room down the hall. They learn about Jesus and have a snack while the moms meet. And if you have an infant, perfect! Your baby can stay with you– our meeting is held in a room with all the baby gadgets you need to calm and entertain your bundle of joy. We meet every other Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Victory Family Church, Cranberry campus. This group will start back up February. God loves you and so do we! We can’t wait to help you find joy in this season of motherhood!
